My name is Søren Solberg Larsen. I'm 50 years of age and working as a programmer.
My current ride is a 2005 FLHT Harley Davidson.
I've owned a 2000 FXDX Harley Davidson and a 1984 FXR Harley-Davidson.
I'm living near a town called Næstved in the southern part of
Zealand in the country of Denmark in the continent of Europe. The town has a population
of around 45000 people and there are around 30 Harley-riders.
I've got my first HD in 1983 and since then I've been riding different
Harley models. In the late 1990's I was aware of the FXR. The FXR is rubbermounted,
has very few vibrations and is a more sporty ride than the choppers I used to ride
in the 1980's. Finally I managed to get a FXR for a fair price (In Denmark) in spring
2000. Winter 2000-2001 I've totally rebuild
the bike.
In the fall of 2002 began thinking about replacing my evo engine with a twin cam.
Because of the insane taxrules in Denmark, the price of a new Dyna Sport would be
lower than the price for my FXR including a new Twin Cam engine. Because of this
I decided to sell the FXR and buy a new Dyna Super
Glide Sport.
After a visit to the USA in spring 2009, where I rented a 2009 FLHTCUI for 3 weeks,
I decided to replace the Dyna with a 2005 Electra Glide Standard
which will be equipped like a FLHTCUI.
